FAQ
Questions, answered
Do I need my own diamond or gemstone supplier?
Yes. FacetFlow works with the supplier relationships, files or feeds you already have. It reads and publishes the catalogue data; it is not a stone marketplace.
Which supplier file formats can FacetFlow read?
FacetFlow supports CSV, Excel/XLSX, Google Sheets, text files and supported supplier feeds or APIs. Its mapping is inferred from the values rather than relying only on header names.
Does a supplier's wholesale cost appear publicly?
No. Supplier cost is used behind permissions to calculate the merchant's retail price and is excluded from the storefront publishing layer.
Can I use more than one supplier?
Yes on eligible plans. Each supplier can retain its own mapping and markup rules, and duplicate detection can identify the same certified stone across sources.
Is there a free FacetFlow plan?
Yes. The Showcase plan is listed at USD 0 per month and can publish a starter catalogue from one supplier file. FacetFlow does not charge a per-order fee or marketplace commission.
What happens if I uninstall FacetFlow?
Shopify ends the subscription and no further app charge is raised. FacetFlow states that catalogue settings are retained for reinstallation unless the merchant requests deletion.
Who builds and operates FacetFlow?
FacetFlow is built and operated by DCPL Technology Private Limited in Surat, India. FacetFlow publishes supplier catalogue data for the merchant; it is not a stone marketplace, appraiser or grading laboratory.
